Starfish Files: Easter Fun Times

I love seeing how creative my students can be. The other 4th grade teachers gave me an idea for a simple, but fun Easter art project: I gave them a plain piece of white paper and told them to make an egg and decorate it with markers, crayons, or pastels. I even let them add some glitter because I was feeling a little wild and crazy. Didn’t they turn out cool?

We had an Easter brunch on Friday morning- yummy pancakes, sausage, and fruit. Our room moms are amazing! During the fun, one of my students came up to my desk with his previously healthy bunny favor and said, “It’s all fun and games until somebody loses an eye.” Hilarious. I love 4th graders.
